Orange confirms former O2 new business chief as VP of business
Orange has confirmed the appointment of O2 business chief, Martin Stiven, as its new vice president of business, as Mobile reported on 2 September.
Stiven will join the company after eight years at O2, where he worked across a number of business development roles, most recently head of new business channels for the operator. He will replace Paul Tollett.
His appointment was made as part of three senior management appointments after the departure of sales and loyalty chief, Jean-Pascal Van Overbeke.
Stiven will work closely with Orange CEO, Tom Alexander, to expand the Orange business unit and will be responsible for strategy and marketing.
Alexander said: ‘I’m delighted to welcome Martin to Orange at such an exciting time. He’s a highly regarded individual who has held a number of pivotal roles in business sales and marketing, and his significant experience will be a great asset to us as we take advantage of the opportunities in the market.
‘I look forward to working closely with Martin and his team to continue to strengthen Orange as a business brand and make it the best loved communications company in the UK.’
