O2 offers home broadband through bolt-on
O2 has announced a new offer for users of the iPhone which will give them free home broadband if they purchase the iPhone internet tethering bolt-on.
The offer will start from tomorrow and run until 31 December. The internet tethering bolt-on allows users to access Wi-Fi through O2’s partners’ such as BT Openzone and The Cloud.
It also allows the iPhone to be connected to a laptop and used as a mobile broadband modem, providing connectivity where Wi-Fi can’t be accessed.
The promotion will allow customers’ access to 3GB of data for £9.79 per month and home broadband.
O2 head of consumer mobile, Peter Rampling, said: ‘This is a brilliant deal for people who want tethering and home internet. Effectively you get both for just £9.79 a month. Total Connectivity means our customers will always be connected, at home and on the move.’
