Orange launches first Windows Mobile device for business

Orange has announced a new business homescreen to be preloaded on its first Windows Mobile device, the Samsung Omnia Pro B7330.

The homescreen will allow medium and large business customers easy access to essential business tools such as email, voicemail, calendar, contacts, customer information and real time reports using Reuters’ news service widget.

The aim of the new service is to allow businesses quick navigation of their mobile phones.

The Samung Omnia Pro is Orange’s first Windows Mobile device and includes 3G, push email and a QWERTY keyboard.

Orange director of business products, Anthony Keyworth said: ‘The Samsung Omnia Pro B7330 is a strong addition to our business signature range of devices and as a WM6.5 device, it not only provides a step up in customer experience but also provides the perfect platform to showcase the Orange business homepage and a range of multimedia business applications.’
