Orange tops mobile broadband survey
Orange has been awarded the title of top provider for mobile broadband quality for the second year running independent research company, YouGov.
The operator was given the top position in both quality and value and was ranked highest in nine out of 15 categories.
The survey carried out by YouGov consisted of 4,417 adults, of which 2,181 used mobile broadband by means of a dongle, modem stick, or datacard. Orange’s mobile broadband sample was 230 users.
The network claims that it has taken steps to provide consumers with ‘greater control’ over their mobile broadband usage by introducing an automatic monthly bill cap and software alerts to ensure to tell customers when they are approaching their usage threshold.
Orange director of broadband and home, Asif Aziz (pictured) said: ‘Being rated as top for our mobile network operator performance is a real honour and fantastic achievement.
‘At Orange we’re committed to delivering a consistent and high quality user experience and have shown that we also offer great value for money with propositions starting from less than £5 per month.’
