Nokia makes more job cuts in R&D

Nokia has announced another wave of job cuts in its research and development operations in Japan, just four days after announcing cuts in Finland and Denmark.

The manufacturer said that around 220 staff in Japan will be affected and the total number will represent 1% of the companies R&D personnel globally.

Nokia will continue to work with Japanese manufacturers and the Japanese operation of the Nokia Siemens Networks business will not be affected.
