Virgin Media launches new high-speed mobile broadband
Virgin Media has launched a ‘high speed’ 7.2Mbps mobile broadband USB modem.
The 7.2Mbps USB modem will be available on a range of contracts and data limits. Users can either sign up for a flexible one month rolling or 18 month contract and can choose from 1GB or 3GB of data each month.
The company said the ‘speedy nature’ of the new dongle makes it ideal for quick browsing, downloading and keeping up with shows via BBC iPlayer or YouTube, with less buffering and stuttering.
Virgin Media executive director of mobile Graeme Oxby said: ‘We’re thrilled to be offering this faster mobile broadband to our users. If you’re not at home or near a wireless connection, mobile broadband is the best way of staying connected on the move and we’re delighted to be making this a speedier, more pleasant experience for our customers.’
