Virgin Media promotes Driver to director of indirect distribution
Virgin Media has promoted Ian Driver to the role of director of indirect distribution.
Driver has been at Virgin since March 2008, where he was first appointed as head of sales and then had a period of acting as director of indirect distribution.
Virgin Media executive director of sales, Peter Taddeo said: ‘I’m delighted that Ian has taken on the role as he continues to drive our indirect distribution strategy and relationships. Ian has a great track record of success within the retail industry and brings a wealth of experience and insight to the team.’
Driver said: ‘Virgin Media continues to grow and develop and I look forward to leading my team into what promises to be an exciting 2010. We'll be able to drive further growth whilst communicating the benefits of Virgin Media’s products in a way that makes sense for the indirect channel and for consumers.’
Before joining the company Driver was general manager of channel execution at O2.
