INQ 3G Chat goes on sale in 3 stores
INQ’s first QWERTY phone, the INQ 3G Chat, has gone on sale in 3 stores today (11 December).
The handset, which has built-in Twitter, is available on both PAYG for £99.99 and contract for £15 a month which includes unlimited texts, internet access and 75 anytime minutes.
The manufacturer said the phone comes with full Facebook and Twitter functionality. It also allows users to personalise their home screen widgets.
3 Director of Devices Nigel Field said: ‘The INQ Chat 3G is a fantastic example of a great value phone that does the internet really well. With one touch access to Facebook, Twitter, Skype and Windows Live Messenger, the Chat reinforces 3 as the home of the mobile internet.’
INQ CEO Frank Meehan said: ‘We’ve looked at what a lot of consumers want and haven’t been getting so far from mobile manufacturers – a well priced device built around the internet that does more than voice-and-text. The INQ Chat 3G does it simply and beautifully, with sharp design and packaging.
‘The internet is not an after-thought for us. We started off with the internet in our DNA when we set the company up a year ago. We have developed partnerships with the big internet brands and are delighted with how the INQ Chat 3G delivers the services consumers tell us they care about.’
