INQ opens Westfield ‘kiosk’
Social networking handset manufacturer INQ has opened a ‘kiosk’ in Westfield shopping centre.
The stand, which is based close to Carphone Warehouse and Sony, opened last weekend (12 December).
It is the first retail outlet that INQ has opened, and it is understood that the company is not planning any more at the moment.
The manufacturer has taken a different approach to retail than its rivals, in light of other manufacturers – such as Nokia - closing flagship stores.
An INQ spokesman said: ‘We are really pleased with the kiosk and how well it has been received by Westfield's Christmas shoppers.’
The manufacturer recently launched its new handset, the INQ 3G Chat, which is being sold on PAYG and contract through 3.
