INQ appoints five senior members of staff
INQ has bolstered its expansion plans with five senior appointments and new offices in target markets.
INQ has recruited Kinson Loo a former Sony Ericsson executive, as president of the company in Greater China, while Jim Hudak will take the helm in North America. Meanwhile, Paul Murdock will run sales operations for the Americas.
The company has opened new offices in Beijing, Singapore and Silicon Valley, as revealed by Mobile in December last year.
The new regional office in Silicon Valley will bring the company closer to internet brands, while the office in China will give a route to market in south-east Asia.
INQ has appointed Henry Whicheloe as head of retail and distribution. He has previously worked at Vodafone Wholesale, Brightstar and Orange.
The manufacturer has also recruited a head of operator sales for Europe. Ronnie Burnett has worked for RIM, Huawei, T-Mobile and O2 in the past.
INQ CEO Frank Meehan said: ‘We are gearing up for an exciting 2010. We laid some amazing building blocks during our first year in business, and we are ready to grow this year. More high calibre people will join the business over the coming months as we continue to pursue our mission to reinvigorate the mobile market with amazing communications and internet devices available to more people.’
