T-Mobile restructures marketing team
T-Mobile has restructured its marketing team in a bid to increase the operator's effectiveness and efficiency, according to reports.

The centralisation of the marketing department means there is now one brand and one advertising team. Previously, there were several different teams working across different parts of the business including retail.

Former brand development manager Lynne Ormrod has been promoted to a newly created position of head of brand and advertising, and will continue to report to the head of brand and communication, Lysa Hardy.

Hardy was involved in the restructure of the team alongside chief marketing officer Srini Gopalan.

There are now 40 people working across brand, sponsorship and advertising communications.

Last week, it was reported that head of advertising and sponsorship Sam Taylor had left the company as part of the restructure.
