Fresh customers join Talkmobile

The last of Carphone Warehouse's 'Fresh' customers are migrating to its Talkmobile MVNO, which operates on Vodafone's network.

Fresh which operates on T-Mobile's network customers have been sent text messages about the changes and call centre staff are calling them to inform them of the change over.

PAYG users of the Fresh network will only be able to top up until the 22 February and will be moved over on 19 March. Contract customers will be moved to TalkMobile on 31 March.

Customers being moved over are being offered a number of Sim-only tariffs including a 30 day rolling contract at £7.50 a month which includes 50 minutes and 300 texts. The mid-range offer is £10 a month for 100 minutes and 3000 text messages.

A Carphone employee said: 'They have decided to stop doing Fresh and decided to pump everything into Talk Mobile.'

A Carphone Warehouse spokesman said: 'This is part of our overall strategy to consolidate our entire MVNO base onto a single network, offering existing customers the opportunity to upgrade their service to incorporate, roaming, mobile internet, free voicemail and better value tariffs.'
