LG COO Crawford leaves after 10 months
LG COO Ward Crawford has left the company after 10 months, becoming the third UK exec to leave the manufacturer in as many months.

Crawford was appointed to the new role in April 2009, as exclusively revealed by Mobile. He was previously MD of the Green and Black's chocolate brand.

LG appointed him in a bid to give the UK more local power and to make it a stronger brand.

Crawford headed up LG's entire UK division, including the mobile arm, as part of the electronics company's global realignment.

The move follows UK head of marketing Jeremy Newing's exit in late 2009. The company is also looking to replace sales and marketing director John Barton, who left the manufacturer early this year.
