Vodafone UK has signalled the imminent
arrival of the Google Nexus One handset, after posting it on the Vodafone
website with a ‘coming soon’ tag.
In the same week, the operator announced an April launch of the HTC Legend and HTC Desire and indicated a
spring launch for the Sony Ericsson X10.
Consumers can sign up for both HTC Android
handsets from this week.
has an exclusive deal on the HTC Legend. The device will come
pre-loaded with a range of Vodafone 360 services, including Vodafone Music and
MyWeb, as well as full access to the Android Market for apps.
The Legend comes with a 3.2-inch,
AMOLED HVGA display and a five-megapixel camera and a new optical joystick
The HTC Desire has a 3.7-inch AMOLED WVGA display and access to social networking sites including Facebook,
Twitter and Flickr on HTC’s Friend Stream.
The device is powered by a 1GHz Snapdragon processor and comes with full Google application app store
Vodafone UK says it will also stock the Sony
Ericsson X10 this spring.
