RIM adds five million BlackBerry accounts
RIM added 4.9 million BlackBerry accounts during its fourth quarter ended 27 February, giving it a total of 41 million accounts worldwide.
The figures are up 65% on the previous year's, with 10.5 million devices shipped during the quarter.
The company reported revenues of £3.2bn, up 18% from on year earlier.
The gross margin for the fourth quarter rose to 45.7% from 42.7% in the previous quarter.
Meanwhile, RIM's quarterly net profit increased to £467m from £413m one year ago.
RIM finished the year with £1.9bn in cash.
