INQ to sponsor Channel 4 music show
Handset manufacturer INQ, is ramping up its efforts in social media and music through a presence on TV and on Spotify.

The manufacturer, which recently entered the Indian market, has teamed up with Channel 4 as the headline sponsor of a new TV show called KOKO Pop.

Six 30-minute shows will be broadcast on Saturday mornings from 10 April. The show is in conjunction with KOKO TV, the TV arm of Camden music venue KOKO.

As sponsor of the programme, INQ will have exclusive access to backstage pictures and videos, which will be posted on its Facebook page.

As well as showcasing KOKO Pops on INQs Facebook page, the manufacturer will also be asking fans to suggest songs for its new radio show on Spotify.

Radio INQ will be recorded on 12 April and the tracklist will be made up from fans suggestions.

INQ co-founder and marketing director, Jeff Taylor, said: INQ is a very different brand to the old manufacturers, so it's very natural for us to use new and different ways to talk to people about our brand and our products.

The internet is at the heart of our brand, and just like lots of people who use our phones, we use Spotify and Facebook every day so both make perfect sense for us. We've already had a fantastic response from our Facebook fans to taking part in both Radio INQ and KOKO TV.
