Nokia slashes smartphone prices
Nokia has slashed its smartphone prices by up to 10% this week, ahead of the release of its results today (22 April).

The price cuts take place across its portfolio, with the most significant reductions taking place on smartphones, according to data seen by Reuters.

A Nokia spokesman declined to comment ahead of January-March earnings.

Nokia has previously said price changes are part of its normal, ongoing business. The world's top mobile manufacturer usually cuts prices across its portfolio a few times each year.
