T-Mobile and Orange – Everything Everywhere

The Orange and T-Mobile joint venture will trade under the company name ‘Everything, Everywhere’, with both networks keeping their current trading brands.

The two operators unveiled the name and ‘vision’ of their newly formed company today (11 May).

Orange and T-Mobile will continue as brands in the market, with each having its own shops, marketing campaigns, propositions and service centres.

The joint venture also unveiled plans for a single ‘super-network’, with roaming across both networks due later this year.

The JV has the biggest operator retail presence on the high street with 713 stores.

The new company has announced acceleration in new markets, including a new assault on business market, ‘continued leadership in wholesale’, and focus on new revenue streams.

The company also intends to develop new revenue streams in adjacent markets, such as mobile advertising and mobile commerce.

Everything Everywhere has a customer base of 30 million people – over half of the UK adult population. The company will be officially integrated on July 1.

The new team is led by Tom Alexander, chief executive, and Richard Moat, chief financial officer and deputy chief executive.
