Gteq launches MVNO on 3’s aql ‘enabler’

Manchester based telecommunications specialist gteq has launched an MVNO on virtual network ‘enabler’, 3’s aql.

Intelligent Mobile is an unbundled, white-label mobile service that allows dealers and resellers the ability to allocate geographic, non-geographic and international numbers to mobile phones and also choose the number that is presented when dialing.

The service can record all calls to FSA standards and offers fixed line functionality such as IVR and Group Calling.

Gteq said its MVNO is ‘capable of revamping the communications industry by changing the dynamics of how we all use a mobile phone’.

Over 120 dealers and resellers attended the launch of gteq intelligent mobile, held at the head office of aql in Leeds.

Keith Horsted, gteq channel development director said that ‘the initial response has been overwhelming as dealers see the potential of the service in the market’.

Aql and gteq have already planned another live demonstration of the service in Maidenhead on 20 May.
