Orange and T-Mobile are poised to expand their 713-strong retail estate under the umbrella of their newly formed company, Everything Everywhere.
New Orange and T-Mobile stores will be launched in the UK over the next 18 months, with expansion also expected in areas such as concessions. New jobs are expected to be created as the joint venture puts front facing roles at the core of its strategy.
Everything Everywhere CEO Tom Alexander said: ‘Retail will expand – not hugely but we will cover the UK well. The role of retail is not just about sales. It’s about representing T-Mobile and Orange.’
The joint venture’s relationship with Carphone Warehouse and Phones 4u is also ‘hugely important’, said Alexander.
Everything Everywhere VP of retail and former T-Mobile retail director Andrew Coull said: ‘The country’s number one communications company will have a retail presence to match.
‘This is not just about scale, we want to lead the way – and it will be for all of us to ensure that our customers love what we do, keep coming back and tell their friends to join us.’
