Virgin Media and T-Mobile will distribute HTC’s new handset, the HTC Wildfire, from Q3.
T-Mobile will start selling the HTC’s latest device on 14 June, While Virgin Media has not revealed a specific date.
On its official Twitter feed, T-Mobile said: The newly announced HTC Wildfire will be available to T-mobile customers from the 14th of June. A date for the diary.’
The Wildfire is loaded with Android 2.1, as well as the HTC Sense social networking skin, a 5 megapixel camera, 3.2-inch touchscreen, Wi-Fi and GPS.
Both networks have are yet to unveil price plans, but a holding page on T-Mobile’s site tells customers to register their interest
Virgin Media said it will soon release tariff information, which ‘will include exclusive benefits for Virgin Media customers’.
