Lebara sales chief exits
Lebara head of national and wholesale distribution, Vikram Kumar, has left the company, Mobile understands.

Kumar, who was in charge of maintaining relationships with distributors and retailers that distribute Lebara Sim cards, had been with the company for over two years. It is not known whether he is leaving Lebara to take up another position.

One source said: ‘He was one of the senior sales managers for Lebara. He was lots of people’s account manager and was a driving force within Lebara.’

Another source said: ‘I know he has left, but I don’t know why. He was in charge of wholesale.’

Before joining Lebara, Kumar had worked for IDT Telecom and Bharti Airtel in India.

Lebara recently took over the Dutch company Chippie and continues to expand across Europe.

Lebara did not comment on Vikram Kumar’s departure.
