Acer to launch two new Android smartphones

Acer will launch two new Android handsets this summer in the beTouch series.

The Acer beTouch E120 (pictured in white)  comes with a 2.8-inch touchscreen with a 5 way navi-key while the Acer beTouch E130 has a 2.6-inch touch-screen and a QWERTY keyboard. Both handsets run on Android 1.6 Donut.  

The two smartphones sport a 3.2-megapixel camera as well as 3G+, high speed browsing and download (HSDPA), WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS pre-installed.

Both phones also pack radio FM, a 1500 mAh battery, Acer Spinlets for music streaming, UrFooz for SN aggregation and Google apps.

The beTouch E120 will be available from mid-July 2010 and the beTouch E130 from August 2010.  

The price of both phones has yet to be revealed.
