Orange and T-Mobile directors to exit

Orange and T-Mobile directors to exit
‘A small number’ of senior Orange and T-Mobile staff will exit the business in the coming weeks when the 1 July merger takes effect.

Everything Everywhere announced last week that following the creation of its ‘vice president tier’ in May, three new appointments have been made: Neil Macgeorge, VP of products; Simon Frumkin, VP of procurement and supply chain; and Stephen Harris, chief of staff to CEO Tom Alexander.

In addition, a new team of directors has been appointed, with ‘a handful’ of T-Mobile and Orange directors to leave the business. Of those new roles, Orange director of channel partners Steve Heald has been appointed as director of e-commerce, while Duncan Hay will stay on as director of indirect sales, Mobile understands.

An Everything Everywhere spokeswoman said: ‘With the formation of the new business Everything Everywhere on the 1 July, a new structure has been developed to ensure the new company and its two major brands of Orange and T-Mobile are able to deliver the exciting ambition of the new business.

‘Unfortunately, this means that a small number of senior people will be leaving the business in the next few weeks. No other areas of the business or employees are impacted.’
