X10 Mini takes number three slot
Sony Ericsson’s X10 Mini was one of the top selling contract phones for the week ended 11 July, according to a combination of data from Carphone and Phones 4u.
The handset, launched last month, was the number three best selling handset, combined data from the two retailers revealed.
Last week, Sony Ericsson has reported a second consecutive quarterly profit, driven by sales of its Xperia X10 and Vivaz smartphones.
It launched the Xperia X10 and Vivaz smartphones in the first quarter of this year, and the Xperia X10 mini and Xperia X10 mini Pro started shipping at the end of the second quarter.
A Sony Ericsson spokesman said: ‘The X10 started well and the X10 Mini has also done very well. We have high hopes for the Mini Pro to be the best of the bunch.’
