Motorola ditches Motoblur brand
Motorola has ditched its Motoblur brand just a year after launch.
The platform, which was designed to offer a push-based service bringing together social networks on one platform, will no longer operate as a separate brand.
The move was announced by Motorola's chief executive officer, Sanjay Jha, in a press meeting. He said that although the Motoblur UI would not be a separate brand, the applications would continue to operate.
Jha said that the company was looking to work on Motoblur's hardware instead of promoting it as a separate brand.
