Mobile World Congress announces new speakers for 2011
Several new speakers have been added to the line up at the Mobile World Congress 2011.
New speakers who will appear at the event include HTC CEO Peter Chou, Vodafone chief executive Vittorio Colao and WPP chief executive Sir Martin Sorrell.
Other speakers include Google CEO Eric Schmidt, Qualcomm CEO Paul Jacobs and Twitter CEO Evan Williams.
The Mobile World Congress will be taking place in Barcelona 14-17 February 2011.
The event is also expanding its focus on developers through the App Planet by launching Macworld Mobile and the Brand App Challenge.
App Planet was launched at the Mobile World Congress last year.
GSMA chief marketing officer Michael O’Hara said: ‘App Planet proved to be a stunning success in its debut this year at Mobile World Congress, demonstrating the tremendous demand for in-depth content, networking and business development opportunities and information on the cutting-edge technologies and solutions in the mobile application space.
