Carphone Warehouse showcases Christmas range
Carphone Warehouse has revealed its range of Christmas exclusives.
The independent retailer has secured a number of exclusives for its Christmas line up, with Android dominating the collection.
Alcatel’s first Android handset, the Alcatel OT-980, is a Carphone Warehouse exclusive for the life of the handset. The retailer will be selling the handset from 1 October and has positioned it as ‘best for dads’.
The new Alcatel handset will be available on prepay from £129.95.
The retailer will also be selling the Samsung Galaxy Tab from November, but pricing still has to be announced.
Other Android devices included in the line up include the HTC Desire in white, an exclusive for the retailer, and the HTC Wildfire in ‘gunmetal’, another exclusive. Both HTC devices will be sold on contract.
Meanwhile, the Nokia N8 will go on sale at Carphone Warehouse on 1 October and the retailer will be selling the device in silver. Vodafone will be getting the green variant and a blue and an orange version are expected to follow.
Prepay Nokia handsets at Carphone will include the C3 and the Nokia E5-00.
Carphone is also stocking the LG Viewty Snap (a refresh of the KS360) and the LG Optimus GT540. It will also stock the LG Cookie Lite T300, which is due out in two to three weeks. The T300 is featured on Orange’s website as ‘coming soon’.
