Read Andrew Harrison's Power 50 profile for 20154 June 2015
Last year’s number one Andrew Harrison has had an interesting past 12 months. Since helping to broker the deal between Dixons Retail and Carphone Warehouse he’s taken on the role of deputy chief executive of the new retail group.
It’s been a year of transition for the retailer as it looks to integrate the two businesses together, although financials have been positive. The business saw its biggest rival Phones 4u collapse in the Autumn and has announced major multiyear partnerships with three of the four major networks since then.
It’s understood that Harrison’s role within Dixons Carphone focuses on developing areas of growth and innovation as well as leading a single team that manages the company’s global supply relationships.
