Internal Account Manager - Hardware

Our client is one of the industry's most experienced multi network airtime distributors and a launch distributor for the Orange network. Since their inception in 1994, the company has grown to offer a wide range of network airtime, mobile devices and software solutions in order to enable independent resellers to offer their customers a mobile solution to suit their requirements. A multi-award winning distributor this is a fantastic opportunity to work for an industry leading company.

The role of Hardware Account Manager is to grow hareware sales throughtout our clients dealer base through various sales functions ensuring target achievement via proactive telephone sales calls allied with an excellent knowledge of products and internal processes

Key duties and responsibilities:


Monthly target achievement in margin, trading dealers and activity. Targets to be achieved by;
Engaging with existing dealer base to ensure all opportunities are realised
Recruiting new dealers (through leads provided and self-generation)
Reviving existing dormant accounts
Completing in excess of  an agreed minimum number outbound calls per day (50)
Carrying out in excess of  an agreed minimum time on the phone per day (3 hours)
Work with internal and external colleagues to ensure the best customer experience during account opening and hand over
Work with Internal and external colleagues to gain quality and profitable new accounts.
Focused sales activity
Communicate clear barriers to sales to Line Manager
Ensure that all nominations for relevant networks are completed before handover
Identify all opportunities for incremental accounts
Improve market intelligence on competitors
Promote airtime, hardware and software proposition
Develop a full understanding of all products within company portfolio
Build and maintain a 1st class prospect database
Achievement of recruiting quality dealers in line with network KPI’s and company requirements
Shipment of first orders within a set period of account opening
Provide market feedback to line manager/colleagues
Use expertise and market knowledge to advise accounts how best to develop their business from a consultative perspective
Create dealer loyalty by providing first class customer service
Ensure that all dealer contact details within the CRM is entered correctly and ensure maximum accuracy
All information relating to contact with the dealers to be updated on CRM
All Profile Fields in CRM to be updated before account is handed over
Maintain regular contact with new accounts until the first order is fulfilled

Essential: Skilled use of Microsoft software including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Internet

Desirable: Skilled use of database software – CRM

Qualifications/ Experience: Background in mobile technology

Essential: Minimum two years sales/account management experience
